
Overview of Benefits for Regular, Full-time Associates
Crabtree & Evelyn offers a flexible benefits plan that allows eligible
employees to choose from different benefit options and levels. Crabtree & Evelyn
also offers vacation, educational assistance, a 401(K) plan and several other
programs for eligible employees. Part-time employees are eligible for certain
benefits, too!
Summary of the Flexible Benefit Plan
The following benefits are provided at no cost to employees:
- Life Insurance - 1 times base salary
- Short-term Disability - 60% of salary
- Long-term Disability - 50% of salary

Flexible Health-Care Benefits Options
Medical
Crabtree & Evelyn offers eligible employees, a comprehensive
medical plan administered by Blue Cross/Blue Shield. This
plan provides a wide range of benefit options.
Vision
A vision benefit is included with the Medical plan options.

Prescription Drugs
Prescription drug coverage is provided through the Medical plan option. Crabtree & Evelyn
offers two types of prescription drug coverage: Pharmacy and Mail order.
Dental
Crabtree & Evelyn offers two benefit levels of Dental coverage, administered
by Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
- Value Plus Plan: $2,000 benefit maximum per individual/per year
- Value Plan :$1,000 benefit maximum per individual/per year
Life Insurance
Crabtree & Evelyn provides eligible associates with a life insurance benefit
level of one times salary, without any payroll deductions. (Associates
may also choose to increase this to two, three, or four times salary.) Rates
for life insurance coverage will vary based on age and salary.

Spouse Life Insurance: Employees may elect $10,000 worth of life insurance
coverage for their spouse. Rates will vary based upon the age of the spouse.
- Child Life Insurance: Employees may elect $10,000 worth of life insurance
coverage for each child. There is a flat-rate cost, which covers
all of your eligible children.

Short-term Disability
Crabtree & Evelyn offers short-term disability coverage to eligible
employees, without payroll deduction. This benefit is equal to 60%
of base salary.
Long-term Disability
Crabtree & Evelyn offers long-term disability coverage to eligible employees,
without payroll deduction. This benefit is equal to 50% of base salary. Employees
may choose to purchase an additional benefit of 10% of salary (bringing the long-term
disability coverage to 60% of salary). Rates will vary due to age and salary.
Reimbursement Accounts
- Health Care Reimbursement: Each pay period, employees can set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for certain health-related expenses, thus reducing income tax.
- Dependent Care Reimbursement: Each pay period, employees can set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for dependent care-related expenses, thus reducing income tax.
Additional Benefits
Educational Assistance
We provide educational assistance of up to $1,500 per year for qualified expenses.
Educational assistance is available to eligible employees, after six months of
service and with the approval of your manager.
Company-paid
Holidays
We provide paid holidays a year for eligible employees. The number and schedule
of holidays may vary, depending on position and store location. The holiday schedule
changes from year to year, and is subject to retail business demands.

Paid Vacations
After
an eligible employee has completed six months of continuous service, we provide
paid vacation. Vacation time is subject to the accrual schedule stated in our
policy.
Employee Assistance Program (E.A.R.)
At Crabtree & Evelyn, we care about our employees and their families' well-being.
We recognize that daily performance can be affected by problems unrelated to
work. For this reason, we provide employees and their families with a free, confidential
counseling service. This service is provided through a toll-free telephone number
and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Product Discounts
Employees can purchase our fine products at substantial discounts from regular
retail prices.
401 (K) Retirement Savings Plan
Employees who meet the following requirements will be eligible to participate
in the Crabtree & Evelyn 401(K) plan:
- Completed one year of service
- With a minimum of 1000 hours worked
- Attained age 21
Crabtree & Evelyn will match associate contributions at a rate of $.50 for
each $1.00 an employee contributes, up to 6% of salary.
